Cleaning Silver Utensils

We all love silver crockery and utensils because of the fact that they look beautiful and can stay for longer period of time. However, with time, these utensils may lose their color and will look dull and discolored. There is no need to buy expensive shining polish or new cutlery set. You can clean them by using housekeeping chemicals present at home.


What you will Need:

·         Hot Water.
·         Baking Soda.
·         Salt
·         Aluminum Foil.
·         Glass pan



How you will do it:
·         Cover the glass pan with foil.
·         Fill it with water.
·         Add salt and baking soda.
·         Put your silver crockery and utensils in this liquid.
·         Leave it for 5 minutes.
·         Wash it with water and dry by using a soft towel.

For best care of your silver crockery, always put it in a low humidity environment or you can also lock them in boxes and open them only in case of use.

We all read newspapers and have a large amount of old newspapers at our home that we recycle often.  Lately, I read some tips about how you can use your old newspapers in an effective way. Here, I am sharing them with you; do give me feedback in the comments:

·         You can clean glass window panes by using newspaper. It cleans the surface evenly without any marks. Make sure to use clean newspaper for cleaning windows, not any oily or sticky one.



·         Newspapers are a good way to absorb and remove any bad odors. You can use them by putting them inside your wardrobe or suitcases.

·         In case of a broken glass, you can use a damp newspaper to clean up the pieces. It will easily collect the small glass particles from the floor. While cleaning, take care of your hand.

·         Place the newspaper in wet shoes. The paper will absorb all the moisture and will help the shoes to dry faster.

Christmas season is on its peak and so are the preparations. Today I am going to tell you some quick and easy tips on how you can easily clean your kitchen after Christmas party is over.

Cleaning of your kitchen after Christmas party is not a difficult task. Before cleaning, make sure you have collected all the kitchen cleaning items including kitchen cleaning chemicals, clothes etc. Secondly make a list of those entire tasks that you have to do like dusting, moping or cleaning. It’s a known fact that your hands say a lot about your personality than any other part of your body, it says how you take care of yourself and even tell how old you are. By using your hands, you perform each and every task therefore your hands become dull and rough if not taken care of properly.



Working in kitchen also causes your hands to lose their natural moisture and causes dryness. While working in kitchen, keep a lotion bottle on a sink and moisturize your hands after washing dishes. You can wear rubber gloves while washing dishes to reduce hands exposure to soap and hot water.
